Qubitrium CEO Dr. Kadir Durak and Qubitrium Netherlands Managing Director Kartal Cona participated in the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs' annual masterclass meeting on November 10, sharing their experiences in the country's entrepreneurial ecosystem with officials from the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA). At the meeting, attended by NFIA Commissioner Hilde van der Meer, NFIA Director for Turkey, the Balkans, and the MENA Region Necla Gunay and agency officials, Durak recalled that Qubitrium opened its first overseas branch in the Netherlands in 2023 at the invitation of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs. He thanked the ministry officials for the interest and facilities shown to them.
In his speech at the meeting, Durak said, "Our company was founded in Istanbul in 2020 with the aim of developing advanced quantum technologies on the cusp of the second quantum revolution. While providing services to develop and produce advanced quantum products, we also offer training programs in quantum technologies to industrial organizations. The opportunity to open a branch in the Netherlands has brought us one step closer to our goal of becoming a global company." Kadir Durak emphasized that they will continue to grow in the Netherlands by strengthening their team, adding:
"We aim to build the communication infrastructure of the future by developing the technologies that form the basis of quantum internet. We are now bringing the entanglement-based solutions we initially designed for researchers to sectors such as telecommunications, banking, energy distribution, and defense. Our goal is to become a leading player on a global scale by integrating quantum hardware and software that redefines security and data integrity in these sectors through partnerships."
