Qubitrium was at Quantum Days
Nov 15, 2025
Qubitrium was once again on stage at Quantum Days, organized by QTurkey. At the event held at ITU on November 15-16, which was attended by leading figures in quantum technologies, our founder Kadir Durak gave a speech as the platinum sponsor of the event. Emphasizing that quantum technologies will change the world, Durak said, “Quantum technologies are no longer confined to laboratories; they are entering our lives.” In his presentation, Durak highlighted that all major powers are allocating billions of dollars to this transformation, stating:
"A quantum memory operating on a cube satellite, a secure communication line for a building, a quantum sensor on an energy line. Quantum modules are the building blocks of the future communication and security infrastructure. This field is not just about technology; it is now a matter of strategic independence. Just as those who invested in the classic internet built the world's largest companies in the 90s, those who invest in quantum today will build the infrastructure of the future."
Emphasizing that the quantum race has begun but there are very few players, Durak pointed out that many countries are still in the R&D phase, and very few have been able to commercialize their products. Therefore, saying that this field is not yet saturated, Durak said, “Whoever enters early will determine the future standard and protocol. So this is not just an investment, it is an opportunity to shape the future.”
Kadir Durak, stating that quantum technologies are not only the domain of physicists but also of visionary individuals, said, “We need the contributions of engineers, economists, investors, strategists, and entrepreneurs. This is not a science project; it is a movement that redefines humanity's form of communication.”
The panel also featured an inspiring discussion on the potential of quantum technologies, their areas of application, and the journey to commercial success. Durak spoke about his transition from academia to entrepreneurship, how satellite-based quantum communication modules were commercialized, and how Qubitrium quickly became an international deep tech startup.
