DESCRIPTION
NIR-TW is a high-performance InGaAs single-photon detector (SPD) designed for near-infrared quantum technologies, covering the telecom wavelength range from 950 to 1650 nm. Optimized for low dark count rates and sub-nanosecond timing jitter, NIR-TW enables reliable single-photon detection in applications such as quantum key distribution (QKD), quantum communication, photon counting, and quantum sensing. The detector operates in continuous-wave mode with optional gated operation, supports high count rates before saturation, and provides standard TTL output for straightforward system integration. NIR-TW is available in versions tailored for both terrestrial laboratory systems and space-qualified quantum missions, making it suitable for ground-based experiments as well as spaceborne quantum communication and sensing platforms.
