The QPS Series is a gain-switched picosecond pulsed laser source engineered for time-resolved photonic and quantum communication research. Operating at a central wavelength of 783.5 nm, the device provides narrow optical pulse profiles and offers customizable internal repetition rates. The architecture accommodates physical hardware dividers for rapid frequency tuning, external TTL triggering, and trigger-out synchronization signals. It is supplied in both fiber-coupled and free-space output setups.
