ABOUT US

We are Qubitrium, a young and dynamic deep-tech company. We offer solutions and services in quantum internet, communication and quantum sensing. We are experts in our domain and committed to make the difference.

We have offices in Istanbul and Delft. Are you the next to embark on this journey together with us? Then we invite you to join our company.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an FPGA Design Engineer. In this role, you will design the digital heart of our quantum hardware.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Design and implement Time-to-Digital Converters (TDCs) inside FPGAs, utilizing carry chains and delay lines to achieve picosecond level timing resolution.

  • Develop low-latency DSP blocks to perform cross-correlation and coincidence counting between multiple channels in real-time.

  • Manage high-throughput data pipelines (PCIe / USB 3.0 / 10GbE) to stream time-tag data to the host PC without data loss.

  • Optimize hardware designs for time stringent and jitter-sensitive quantum applications.

  • Create bit-accurate simulation testbenches (SystemVerilog/UVM) to verify correlation algorithms before deployment.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate hardware and software solutions.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar.

  • 3+ years of work experience in FPGA design.

  • Expert in Verilog, SystemVerilog, and/or VHDL.

  • Experience utilizing FPGA fabric primitives for precision timing or delay generation.

  • Strong understanding of digital signal processing concepts (FIR filters, accumulators, correlation mathematics, FFT).

  • Experience with high-speed serial protocols (PCIe, Aurora, DDR3/DDR4) and LVDS signaling.

  • Strong knowledge of real-time systems (RTOS) and embedded C/C++ programming.

  • Fluent in English, in writing and spoken.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • A competitive salary aligned with your skills and experience, plus meal compensation and performance-based bonuses that reward individual contribution.

  • Opportunities to work on international R&D projects and be part of the quantum revolution.

  • A chance to join a leading quantum innovation hub in Türkiye, and a young, energetic team of highly skilled physicists, engineers, and industry experts.

  • Plenty of room for your own initiatives and ideas, with opportunities to develop yourself at the cutting edge of technology.

  • Company sponsored social events.
